First and foremost, I believe gardening can be very therapeutic. There is something Biblical about watching something that did not look like much grow into a beautiful plant. However, any gardening project or landscape project can become frustrating very quickly. Over the years, I have found that the best way to overcome the frustration is to just have fun and enjoy it. Don't become overwhelmed. I have spoken to so many gardeners that want to have everything in the landscape right away. Take your time and enjoy it. Change it if you don't like it, and stop at the garden center often for ideas. There are always new flowers, new plants, and ideas you can gain from being around like minded people. We love dirt, we play in it all the time. We would be happy to be the one who encourages the building of your garden.
